FS-1562-15

The FS-1562 series is a new MF/HF radiotelephone fully capable of GMDSS,MARITEX and TELEX voperation, packaged in a compact, sturdy cabinet. The radiotelephone is available with 150 Wpep(FS-1562-15) or 250 Wpep(FS-1562-25) power output.

The high-performance DDS (Direct Digital Synthesizer) is computer-controlled to generate all authorized transmit frequencies between 1.6 and 27.5MHz plus any receive frequency from 0.1 to 30 MHz in 10Hz steps. On paired channels, the transmit frequency and the recieve frequency are displayed simultaneously. Frequencies and channels are selected either by the rotary control or numeric keys. International calling and distress frequency 2182kHZ is instantly selected by a single touch of the [2182] key. 

The FS-1562 provides not only quality voice communication but also GMDSS operation with DSC Terminals DSC-5/5A/6/6A and MARITEX/TELEX operation with NBDP Terminal DP-5.

The fully automatic antenna coupler is supplied as standard and matches a whip or wire antenna 7 to 30 meters long . Tuning is achieved in less than 0.5 seconds on channels that have been tuned before and within 2 to 15 seconds on new channels.
